Q. How long have you worked at Tidcombe?

Two lovely years

Q. Do you lead a subject?

I lead Music and Forest School.

Q. Do you have a favourite subject?

Whilst I love music and working outside, my favourite subject to teach is maths.

Q. Have you had any careers aside from teaching?

Yes. I used to be a classical musician (my instrument was the oboe) and I was lucky enough to travel the world playing music.

Q. What is your favourite book?

That's a tough one. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the 'How to train your Dragon' series with my children, which we've just started for the second time, and I thought the 'Rosie Project' by Graeme Simsion was brilliant.

Q. What makes Tidcombe special?

All of the children are exceptional and make every day an adventure.

Q. Recommend one thing to do in the area for someone who has recently moved here.

My family loves to hike around Exmoor and one of our favourite places is Watersmeet, which has beautiful waterfalls and amazing woodland.
