We run a variety of clubs for children at Tidcombe Primary School.
We are proud of our fun and active lunchtimes at Tidcombe. Every single lunchtime, children have the opportunity to join in with a sport or activity club, ranging from dodgeball, basketball and hockey to girls football and dance, all with qualified sports coaches from Premier Sport. We also have our very own Year 6 play leaders who do a magnificent job of teaching the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 a range of skills and fun cooperative games. This is a lunchtime highlight for some of our youngest children - the Year 6 play leaders are always inundated with happy childre wanting to play with them!
Staff members also offer lunchtime and after school clubs throughout the year. Last year we had tennis, cricket, running club, choir, KS1 and KS2 art club, story club, gardening club and Forest School.
For those children who love construction and creative play, we also have a wide range of activities available such as water play, dressing up and junk modelling, available to encourage and develop lots of other skills. We are often astonished at how cooperative and inventive their lunchtime play can be!
